Revolution Ropes, Inc. was founded by Sandy Stephens, a native of Marfa, Texas, and a rancher and team roper for over 25 years.  After studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Arizona, he graduated from Texas A& M University with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1996. He is a registered Professional Engineer.

The Tip Xcelerator^TM was invented with the help of Bill Benishek, a native of Pleasanton, Texas.   Bill, who also graduated from Texas A& M, has been in the materials engineering, sales, and distribution business for over 10 years.
